STUBICA HERITAGE – 311

The Stubica area is best known as a tourist destination for the Peasant Revolt, which took place there in 1573, and its leader Matija Gubec. However, it also contains an abundance of cultural and historical heritage, which you will discover along the thirteen kilometers of the "Stubica Heritage" cycling route. The route is family friendly, moderately challenging, with several short but sharp climbs which you can avoid if you'd like to shorten the route. It is intended for MTB/gravel and trekking bicycles since it has a few short macadam sections. The start and finish of this circular routes is in the center of the Gornja Stupica Municipality, next to the Rudolf Perešin Memorial Park, which boasts a full-sized MIG-21 airplane.
