This easy circular route takes you through the Sutla River valley, across lowland terrain that occasionally rises into gentle hills. Along the route, you pass by the Baroque Miljana Castle, situated on a riverside slope and one of the most valuable historical buildings in the area. The route continues through Hum na Sutli and Rogatec, then on to Rogaška Slatina and Podčetrtek, before returning to the starting point. The ride maintains a comfortable rhythm, with only minor climbs and descents, making it suitable for recreational cyclists. The landscape is wine-producing, featuring native and protected grape varieties that further highlight the connection between the land and local tradition. The route is named after the Sutla River, which defines its course and provides a unique experience of cycling through nature and culture on both sides of the border.
